Residents of Nahalin and Wadi Fukin have been frequently reporting damage caused by wastewater discharge from both the western and eastern sides of the Beitar Illit settlement. Since 2011, agricultural activity in polluted areas has been halted, with an estimated 19 acres of land completely damaged. So far, EcoPeace has been working closely with the corresponding municipalities and the Wall and Settlements Resistance Committee (under the PLO). On the Israeli side, EcoPeace is cooperating with residents from Tsur Hadassah who have mobilized for campaigning and are filing a lawsuit.
